Gold Digger

Years after the seperation,
mother has moved on, but you are
still hanging onto what
could've, would've, should've happened.
Sad, then angry, then trying to teach me wrong.
You were not there, and that is your fault.
To me, you talk bad about my mother,
that she is money hungry, wanting your money to pay for her things,
her expensive vacations.
You are ignorant,
trying to erase my image of her as you wish.
The very little currency you pay
does not give us luxury, but our basics.
But you never listen to me,
you bitter father.

  1. Sounds like a really heartbreaking and challenging situation...It seems like kids are often put in the middle of the nasty fallout between their parents.
